We never stop building.
David Hanson and Gerald Rauenhorst established Fabcon in 1970 to develop the potential of SpanDeck technology, then used for producing 8 foot wide concrete wall panels and floor slabs. Fabcon’s first plant began operations in 1971, producing slabs for use in apartment buildings and retail projects. As our business grew, we refined our engineering and enhanced our equipment to expand our capabilities and the markets we served.
With the acquisition of The American Precast Company in 1995, Fabcon gained a plant in Grove City, Ohio. The eastward expansion continued in 2000 with the addition of a third Fabcon facility in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In 2015, Fabcon set its sights west and added a fourth plant in Pleasanton, Kansas.
Fabcon celebrated 45 years of quality, dedication to excellence and first-class service in 2016. Fabcon employees sustain a tradition of quality, a commitment to innovation, and a readiness to seize new opportunities to serve precast concrete customers.
