Sarah Skluzacek is being promoted to Manager of IT Applications. Sarah has been with Fabcon for almost four years as a Business Analyst, leading many successful application implementation projects and working to improve our processes and the applications that support them. Sarah’s drive, leadership, and vision will be invaluable as we work to lean out our back office processes with the assistance of new applications!
Sara Corwin has been promoted to Manager of HR Systems. Sara is a great fit for this role given her extensive experience and understanding of systems at Fabcon, in addition to her IT and Accounting experience.
William “Scott” Bisco has been promoted to Production Supervisor in PA. Scott has been with Fabcon for five years, working in the plant as a casting foreman. His previous position taught him about leadership and helped him gain the knowledge needed to take the next step into this supervisory role. In Scott’s spare time, he likes to hunt, fish, and kayak.
Tyson Intile has been promoted to Business Development Senior Project Lead for our new Work to Existing (W2E) business unit. Tyson has been a critical member of our Business Development team through the successful expansions of our PA and Kansas facilities, and we are excited to watch him grow the new and improved W2E business unit.
Michael Berg will be moving into the role of Project Manager for the newly created W2E business unit. Mike and his family are currently in the process of moving back to the Minneapolis area. We are excited to see Mike’s knowledge and experience be put to use for this new and growing opportunity for Fabcon.
Dan Munson is being promoted to a Project Manager. Dan has been with Fabcon for over 3 years; in that time, he has transitioned from a Supervisor in the Quality Department to a Project Manager, has gotten married and has recently become a father. Dan’s drive, leadership, and vision will be invaluable for the Operations Department and the specifically Ohio division.
Tracy Treneff will be moving into our new Plant Trainer role. Tracy has worked at our Ohio facility for over 7 years, most recently as a QA Supervisor. Tracy has been instrumental at ensuring our compliance to PCI, ISO, and CSA quality standards. His new role will allow him to continue to promote Quality and Safety through new crew member orientation and training, ensuring new crew members are trained on the foundational skills of their jobs as well as helping them understand their impact on our customers and why their work matters.
Fabcon welcomed Ashley Durant to the Fabcon team as our new Manager of Post Production Logistics. Ashley and her husband have 20-month-old twins that keep them very busy. They enjoy camping, hiking, biking and generally anything outdoors.
Don Smith also joins Fabcon as the new Capital Project Contract Manager. Don comes to us from American Electric Power, where he was a Project Manager for the building of large substations and transmission lines. Outside of work, when he is not chasing around his two-year-old son or German Shepard, Flash, around, Don is a passionate hunter, bocce ball player and doing home projects.
Tyler Fink has joined the scheduling group as Master Scheduler. After graduation from Iowa State University in 1999, Tyler spent 19 years working in the following manufacturing industries: after-market automotive, hydraulics, computer hardware, and aerospace. Tyler brings extensive scheduling, planning and purchasing experience to the table. In his free time, Tyler enjoys music; his current rotation consists of Bob Dylan, early Rolling Stones, and other blues-inspired artists.
We also welcomed Brian Buss to Fabcon as our new IT Business Analyst. Brian comes to us with 15 years of IT Business Analyst experience and we are very excited to have him as part of our team. In Brian’s spare time he enjoys being outdoors and watching his daughters swim competitively. You will also find him cheering on his favorite teams, as he is a big Vikings, Timberwolves, Twins and Yankees fan!
We are excited to welcome our new additions to the Fabcon team. Congratulations to all of our fabulous employees taking on new roles!
